cashclaim.ai is a private company, not affiliated with any government agency. You always have the right to claim funds yourself directly from the holding agency at no cost.
We are not a government agency
No letter, email, or page from CashClaim is a government notice. We are a private fund-recovery company. Any contact from us should say so plainly, and you can always verify a surplus independently by contacting the county we name.
We are not a law firm
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Where a recovery requires legal filings or court appearances, that work is performed by independent licensed attorneys in the relevant state, engaged for your case.
How our fee works
We work on contingency only. Our fee is a percentage of funds actually recovered, typically between 10% and 20%, stated exactly in your written agreement before you sign. We never charge upfront fees, processing fees, or search fees. If no funds are recovered, you owe nothing.
You can do this yourself
Every holding agency has a process for owners (or heirs) to claim surplus funds directly, without paying anyone. Depending on the county this may involve claim forms, notarization, proof of ownership or heirship, and in some cases a court petition. Hiring us is a convenience with aligned incentives. It is never your only option.
No guarantees; verification required
Any amount we reference is conditional: funds “may” be available and are confirmed only by verification against official records. Deadlines, procedures, and fee caps for surplus recovery vary by state and county; where a state caps recovery fees below our standard range, the cap governs.
